You may need to translate the symbols to match the service you are using. You can do that with this Edit menu command:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service

Are you using File >> Open Chartbook to see the list of chartbooks and they are not in that list?

So you do not see them listed in File >> Open Chartbook?

i am trying to follow u on doing this but this is frustrating. i love sierra already but this part of support is time consuming when we should have already figured out the issue long time ago. This area of support could be done in a much better way. anyways i am on global settings n sierra data. does not give n option to copy there

Just make sure the entire line in that section is highlighted and use Ctrl-C on your keyboard to copy it. Then use Ctrl-V to paste it into this thread.

Otherwise, just retype what you see in there into this thread.

The information you supplied does not make any sense.

Please do the following:
- Open Global Settings >> General Settings
- Tell us whether there is a checkmark next to "Always Use 'Data' Folder Within Main Folder" in the upper left section.

Also, please verify the entry that is in the space just under "Data Files Folder" in the upper left-hand corner and let us know if it really is what you stated above, if not, then what is in it that line.

Yes there is a checkmark there. Checkmark and always use data folder within main folder.

data files folder
c:\Sierrachart\data\
checkmark

chart image folder
c:\sierrachart\images\

daily data editor
c:\sierrachart\NPP\Notepad++.exe

on the other side files to open on startup checkmark enable

Ok, so your data folder is "C:\Sierrachart\data". That is good.

Now, when you copied the Chartbooks to your data folder, did you put them into that same folder (C:\Sierrachart\data)?

ok so this is the steps i took. all steps were the same and reason of why i am confused of why only one chart book of the ones i downloaded is in sierra chartbooks. All charts are from same person. download> pc> Cdrive> Sierra > data and that is were the files were placed
