I'm trying to use Sierra Chart with Stocks - like Apple, Microsoft, IBM etc. Why is it so hard to setup Sierra Chart with stocks? Please help. |

In order to open a chart for a stock, you just need to type in the stock symbol (like "AAPL" for Apple). Refer to the information in this section: File Menu: Find Symbol (File) It does not look like you are subscribed to any Real-Time data for stocks, therefore the data you will receive is our historical data, which is delayed and only updates on a specific interval. Refer to the information here: Sierra Chart Historical Data Service If you are interested in getting Real-Time stock data from us, then refer to the information for the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, and you would activate the U.S. Equities exchange: Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Follow the instructions here: Getting Started, Opening Charts and Basic Trading: Open Chart When you open a chart for a stock symbol you need to manually enter the stock symbol. In this case the symbols are: AAPL IBM MSFT Also refer to the post above. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
