Hi,
Can you provide the details required to run a manager account please.
I will be working with other traders in a sim environment and this would allow me to streamline the process.
They will have there own Sierra Subscriptions and Data feeds etc already.

All participants will have an account with a broker connected to Sierra Charts and all the data feeds req also.

We are redeveloping all of this functionality to be more self-contained and organized. We are actively in this process now. It probably would take us about another 2 to 4 weeks or so to have it all finished.

rather than giving you access to the old system, what we can do is if you start a ticket here:

And give us a list of the Sierra Chart usernames that need to have a simulated trading account and that you want to monitor we can then set them up for you. We need to know what the account balance should be. This will be the easiest way. We can also set other parameters like position limits and a daily loss amount that will trigger flattening of positions.

We really have to apologize for the delay . We have been gradually working on re-implementing, how simulated trading accounts are created and managed.

The existing implementation, which is through our website is not something we are happy with. As we look at doing what you want, we are not happy with the technical implementation. So we want to wait until we have a whole new interface completed.


We are working on something completely new and much more orderly and structured and all managed within Sierra Chart, and allows users to have complete control and flexibility.

As we look at your specifications, we do not want to try to work with what we have now to do what you need.

We apologize but we just have to ask you to wait until we have the functionality ready. It is under active development.

Thank you for the update a little disappointing as the four of us were planning to start here and potentially evolve into something bigger drawing more clients to the platform. All good just means we are on pause until the development is done. Has Apteros been put on hold also? You never know who the next Apteros will be...please keep me updated. We are currently connected with 3 major trading communities and have plans to create something similar.

We do apologize for the delay. And we are very close to finishing this functionality. We should be finishing up within two weeks. Maybe even finishing up within days. But then we need some time for testing. So two weeks is a closer estimate.

Has Apteros been put on hold also?
No but we are not happy with the way that currently is implemented.

And we do apologize for the delay with the response. We do have a very high support load now.

Once this functionality is done, what you will basically do is you would create the accounts and set the related settings from within Sierra Chart and then share them with whatever users you want. And then you can monitor them and adjust account balances.

So this is a very simplified straightforward way of doing this, which does not require any intervention on our part and has no dependency utilizing our web services.
