Please describe what is meant by Trades in this indicator. Is this (net) volume by trade?

Cumulative Delta Bars - Trades is the cumulative sum, over the data in the chart or the trading day, of the difference between the number of trades at the Ask price and the number of trades at the Bid price, displayed as High-Low CandleStick bars.

Thank you. My question is what is meant by trade. I'm looking for a definition of trade. I have not seen this term used anywhere else in Sierra Chart literature. Where the term "volume" is used, it is understood that volume means number of contracts (size/qty.) Thanks for your time. |

Trades are equivalent to Ticks. A 55 tick chart would be a 55 Trade chart in SC. Refer to this Bar Period Type: Chart Settings: Intraday Chart Bar Period >> Bar Period Type >> Number of Trades Per Bar (Chart >> Chart Settings menu) |
