Hello,

I have read all the documentation and been trying (for 2 days now) to get the Level 2 data working for both the Level 2 window and on the Trading DOM. I have tried entering even the symbol from the example in the documentation AAPL-STK-ISLAND but it still doesn't work. The chart does not load properly and there is still only the current bid/ask volume being provided. i.e. 1 level of data.

I am subscribed with Interactive Brokers to Level 2 data.

Please see the screen shots.

Is there any way I can get help to correct this issue. I am willing to pay for remote assistance etc..

Thank you,

We do not provide support for Interactive Brokers data.

We see you are using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed with the US equities data and currently we do not provide market depth/Level 2 data for US equities. So you will not have access to that. We expect to offer that probably in the second quarter of 2021.

When using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed for US equities data we really recommend setting Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service to SC Data-All Services, and not involving Interactive Brokers.

You can also use a separate installation of Sierra Chart to access the US equities data:

Hello,

I am a little confused now. When I set up Sierra Chart the instructions told me to set the service to Interactive Brokers as this is the brokerage I am using. It said that the Sierra Chart Exchange Data feed was fully integrated. It does seem to work fine (with the exception of the Level 2 which has now been explained) and I do see the [M] at the end of the active symbol in the chart in my primary instance. Are you saying that I should change to "SC Data All Services" and that I will still be linked to Interactive Brokers for trading purposes if I do so?

Thanks you for clarifying and for your previous response,

If you want to trade from Sierra Chart using your Interactive Brokers account, then yes Sierra Chart does have to be connected to Interactive Brokers.

Whenever we get market data questions though involving Interactive Brokers in order to eliminate confusion and complexity, we do recommend using the Sierra Chart data feeds separately.

However, you do need to have Sierra Chart connected to Interactive Brokers if you want to trade that account.

Regarding the level 2 data, we cannot help with that but know that we are working on a direct NASDAQ connection which will be providing this data. We expect it will become available in the early part of the second quarter of 2021.
