I upgraded from 2196 to 2204 a few days ago and noticed that the Keyboard Shortcuts are not working properly. I am using the Shift and Arrow keys to go long, short, flatten and cancel (Shift+ Right Arrow). Yesterday and this morning, I noticed that the flatten and cancel keyboard shortcut closes my position and initiates a new position. I am not able to use my keyboard shortcut to flatten my positions. Can you please look into this as this is a high priority? Please let me know if you need any additional information

First, make sure that the option for Trade >> Trading Keyboard Shortcuts Enabled in enabled. Refer to the information here:
Trade Menu: Trading Keyboard Shortcuts Enabled (Trade menu)

Second, make sure your keyboard shortcuts are still setup properly. They should not have changed, but given what you are stating, it sounds like they may have. Refer to the information here:
Global Settings Menu: Customize Keyboard Shortcuts (Global Settings menu)

If your keyboard shortcuts are not correct, then you can see if you can get them back by using a backup configuration file. Refer to the information here:

I checked everything before I created this ticket. The keyboard shortcut is enabled and properly set. When I used the flatten and cancel key yesterday and today, it did not flatten the position but created a new position but the new position was not even visible in Sierra Chart. I happened to noticed it only when I saw in Interactive Broker Trading Station. I vaguely remembered seeing this issue a few months ago and I was asked to change to Dinali but I am not sure if this is the same issue.

I did not experience any of these issues in 2196

There definitively is no problem at all with keyboard shortcuts in the new version. Nothing has changed in this regard. Keyboard shortcut problems are always system-level issues. There is no problem in this regard within Sierra Chart.

When I used the flatten and cancel key yesterday and today, it did not flatten the position but created a new position but the new position was not even visible in Sierra Chart.
You need to analyze why this is the case through the Trade Activity Log:

You really should understand the problems you face when using Interactive Brokers:
Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Introduction

If there is an unexpected position when flattening the position this would be due to inaccurate position data from Interactive Brokers or maybe you are using the order fill calculated Trade Position data and that is not accurate:

The Order Fill Calculated Position setting is disabled by default. Are you suggesting that it should be enabled?

Is this similar to the issue posted on Jan 16, 2020 - post 284?

You need to set the Order Fill Calculated Trade Position option as you want. That is up to you.

There is definitively nothing wrong with the keyboard shortcut functionality in Sierra Chart and we will not respond further to this.
