INDU-IND-GLOBEX issue with intraday chart

Hi, I am getting data from IB, and I subscribed to their DJ Global Indices to get Dow Index. In Sierra, when I click on Find symbol in IB Indexes section, I am able to create INDU-IND-GLOBEX for Daily but when I want to open Intraday chart, I get a blank chart, not even one candle comes up and I wait and nothing shows up hours later, the chart remains blank. I as well tried to duplicate INDU-IND-GLOBEX Daily chart into minute chart, but it just stays blank for hours, nothing downloads, but I am able to revert back to Daily and get candles. I know for sure I am subscribed to IB Dow index data feed, I checked several times. Can you please tell me how to fix this? Thank you |

We do not provide any technical help for Interactive Brokers data. Refer to: Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Notice: Sierra Chart Does Not Provide Support for Interactive Brokers Symbols or Data Issues To use the Sierra Chart provided data, refer to: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Cash Indexes The reason this is working: I am able to create INDU-IND-GLOBEX for Daily
is because that data is coming from our Sierra Chart Historical Data Service. We have removed that functionality now and the data will only come from Interactive Brokers.

Thank you but I am still having an issue. I went through all the IB Real Time Indexes in Sierra, but not found one Index coming from Interactive Brokers DJ Global Indices that I subscribed for in IB. There is data coming from Dow Jones Indices in Sierra's IB Real Time Indexes, such as $DOWI but it does not update in real time when I try to create intraday chart. The chart shows intraday candles but does not update real time as it seems to be coming from Dow Jones Indices and not DJ Global Indices that I subscribed in IB. Is this because you don't support Interactive Brokers - DJ Global Indices data stream? As well when I go to Search in IB Indexes Real Time and type in Dow Jones Indices, click on open intraday Chart, I get a message in Sierra saying " Symbol settings not found for current service" Can you please clarify. Thank you |

All data from Interactive Brokers is supported but if you have trouble accessing it, you need to refer to the Message Log in Sierra Chart for the details and contact Interactive Brokers. We simply do not provide help at all with their data. You are on your own in this regard. Just to make an update. I was on the phone with IB API support for almost an hour, they were checking data connection, and they couldn't figure out why $DOWI in Sierra was not updating real time since it was updating in my Ib charts. They are still investigating, ext. But the interesting thing I noticed is that I also subscribed to OPRA to get the Nasdaq Index intraday data from IB to Sierra. Well, in Sierra, $NASX which I believe is Real Time Nasdaq Index ticker, is not updating intraday, But COMP-IND-NASDAQ ticker for Nasdaq Index which you told me should NOT update in Sierra, is updating both Daily and Intraday and which I am happy about. Seems strange, as if IB data feed is going to places it shouldn't and skipping where it should? Not sure. |

There is confusion here. Interactive Brokers definitely cannot help with any symbol that begins with a $. Those are not their symbols. Please look at my last message to you again, I never put dollar sign in front of COMP-IND-NASDAQ ticker, nor INDU-IND-GLOBEX ticker in previous messages. But I did put a dollar sign in front of $DOWI or $NASX which are real time IB indexes for Dow and Nasdaq. All I am saying is that COMP-IND-NASDAQ ticker in Sierra is now updating realtime, somehow pulling data from IB, but $NASX which should be updating intraday is NOT updating like it should. |

I didn't know that, I thought realtime indexes for IB started with $ sign like $DOWI. Ok thank you. |
