Are all of the charts using this exact same symbol?: ESZ20-CME

Please do the following:
- Select File >> Disconnect
- Select Global Settings >> Symbol Settings
- Select Update From Server
- Select OK
- Select File >> Connect to Data Feed

We saw the same thing with the ESZ20-CME not updating, but when we did the above, it started updating.

When using the new symbols, for each particular symbol, you can either use the new format or the old format you cannot use both. Using both will create a conflict.

We also see you are using sub instances which does complicate this. Among all your instances of Sierra Chart for a particular symbol, futures market like the ES, you must consistently use either the new format or the old format. After any changes you have to reconnect to the data feed in all instances.:
File Menu: Procedure to Reconnect to the Data and Trade Servers

At this point, we think it is best not to use the new format anywhere if you are having trouble.

We want you to go back to the old symbol format everywhere you have changed symbols. Do not use the new format. Unless you can use it consistently among all your instances of Sierra Chart you will have a problem.

Go among all of your charts and anywhere you have changed symbols and use the old symbol format.

Let us know if you need more help. We are also working on some changes, to fully support proper translation of symbols automatically without any potential conflicts.

I concluded the same and have since reverted but remember the original issue was the old spread symbols were not properly updating. I'm using this symbol for NG spreads "NGX20-NGZ20.FUT_SPREAD.NYMEX" amongst the old symbols. Also I believe that after disconnecting updating and reconnecting every sub and main instance more than once the main instance still was using ESZ20 NOT ESZ20-CME which perhaps lead to the issue of none of the new symbols working in the sub-instance. In summary I'm primarily using old symbols and keeping my finger's crossed.

Spread symbols have not changed and will not change.

If you just consistently use the old symbols in all instances you will be fine.
