I just recently purchased a custom study from Simple System Trading (SST). It requested that I restart SC in order for study to download properly. I did but SC application, upon opening, just "spins and spins" and doesn't seem to connect. Retried several times.

Yes, I do get past the login window. All windows come up but they are “greyed” out while ball spins and spins. Window says “not responding”. Must hard close

First thing to do is to run in Safe Mode, which will prevent any 3rd party programs from running. This will give us information as to whether the problem is really from the SST program or not. Refer to the information here for how to run in Safe Mode:

If you are able to run just fine in Safe Mode, but not otherwise, then it would appear to be a problem with the SST program and you would need to contact them to find out what the problem may be.
