HeyUgly - Posts: 253
im a little confused,

I have a Denali feed dioe futures, and sierra feed for Stocks, working great
i now have a cannon account, which CQG is handling executions, i have the CQG login, and have connected it in sierra

question

1. how do i make sure Denali/Sierra is the data feed, and how do i know im connected to CQG at the same time for executions? and also, how do i know im in Demo mode for CQG when logged into sierra to test everything before trading off it all live here?

2. do i need to connect the cannon account for anything? seeing that CQG is handling everything i dont think i do??

thanks in advance!!

1a. Make sure it is the Denali Data Feed: Refer to the information here, particularly towards the end of the section discussing the [M] symbol.

1b. Connected to CQG: As long as you have entered the information properly in Data/Trade Service Settings, then you are connected. You can look in your Message Log to see if there are any issues. Refer to the information here:

1c. Sierra Chart offers Simulation Mode. Refer to the information here:

2. No, you do not need to do anything with regards to Cannon Trading, it is the CQG connection that is important.
