Clarification on Denali Data Feed

It turns out I'm going to need real time data. I want to make sure I understand correctly.

The Denali data feed is $25/month and I will also have to pay an exchange fee. I only trade the E-Mini contracts.

1. Which exchange do I select? "CME with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts" at $10.40/month?

2. My actual trading application is Jigsaw. I use Rithmic for that. So once a month I would need to connect Sierra to my AMP Futures/Rithmic trading account to get the non-pro reduced fees, correct?

Thanks,

Robert

Yes, you have your information correct.

1. It depends on which symbols you are wanting. Three of the main E-Mini's (S&P 500, Russell 1000, and NASDAQ 100) are on the CME exchange, but the DOW Jones E-Mini is on the CBOT. You will have to determine what you need based on what data you want and whether you need Market Depth or not.

2. Yes. But you may have trouble connecting Sierra Chart to Rithmic so we really recommend you have another account with your broker on the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service:

As much as I would prefer one solution for data feeds, my trading platform does not support Sierra Chart Order Routing/Data Service, and you will not support connecting to RTrader, so I'm screwed and must use two data feeds. I wish all you vendors would just get your S*** in one sock and make things easy for customers. There should be ONE standard, and every package should support it.

Now My Question:

Should I do (pay/activate/whatever) SC Data Feed on the first of the month (Aug 1) or sooner? I don't want to get charged for my free month which is about to expire. If I understand correctly, CME will charge me for the entire month no matter when in the month I activate the service.

Correct?

You will want to wait until the first of the August. Otherwise, you will spend money for just a couple of days that you did not need to do.
