Hello,

please could you explain me why Sierra Chart shows another data -candles /+-20ticks/ than are on Interactive Brokers/Globex/EBOT.
The last 3 have the same data with precision 1 tick.
/in the real time and also historical data./

The data are generated :-) or time shift?

Probably the problem is with settings of "Use evening session" plus something else. In any case the time of session starts
at 8.29 not on 8.30. I am not tester /programmer for 30years/, but this is very unusal feature of application.

thank you.

now it works

We do not provide any technical help for Interactive Brokers data. You must use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for CBOT data:

This is really not about data!!!! ,,,interactive Brokers data, CME data , Ebot dat .... this why your trading session start at another time then is normal .... this is real software application problem if you change time frame from 2- to 3 minutes you change start time...

Sorry there is no chance we are going to help with this, when you are using Interactive Brokers data. Once you involve that data, no answers from us. Firm policy. What do you think is going to happen when you show us a chart from TWS and then you compare it to a chart receiving data from TWS in Sierra Chart. We are going to have absolutely no tolerance for this whatsoever and it will be immediately disregarded. Do not even try to convince us.

For now use the Sierra Chart Historical Data service:
Sierra Chart Historical Data Service

And besides, why are you even asking a question? What is the purpose of this.? If you are intelligent like you are saying, what is the purpose of even asking us a question? Refer to the documentation here in regards to session times:
Chart Session Times

And that page fully explain session times and everything related to that. Also refer to:
Chart Session Times: Bar Starting Times

We have terminated technical support for Interactive Brokers:
***Interactive Brokers is Garbage*** (Technical Support is Now Fully Ended!!)

We are not even really sure what you are asking about, what the source of the data is in the chart. The time frame of the chart bars.

This situation is not described in your help /manual/, because this is probably sw defect. If I change Time Frame from 3 to 2 minutes and back sometimes change session time without user command /first candle begin + 1minute or correct +0min/.

Doesnt metter if you are connected, or you have historical data from SC or IB.

I dont need help at the moment, thanks.
