Is there a way to display the total volume per bar in a numerical calculation? For example on a range bar chart I would like to know the total volume traded on each specific bar in one calculation.I would like to see the number populating during the bar. Thanks.

First, you can use the Volume study to see the volume per bar and the current bar will update as the volume gets added.

If you also want to see this volume printed below the bar, then you can use this Study Collection to do this:

Refer to the information here for how to use a Study Collection:

Thank you for the response. I'm unable to download the study you sent me. However, I do have another question. I have the Ask Vol vs Bid Volume on my chart. I would like to see the cumulative Bid Vol vs Ask Vol total updating as the candle develops. Is this possible? I would also like it to display in section 2 (under the chart) of the chart.
Thanks again.

Hey Jeffrey - you can use the study: Number Bars Calculated Values -- then, using the study, pull in whatever you want, including volume.

You can also display the volume above the candles using the study: Subgraph Above/Below Bar as Text. See attached screenshot.

We do not understand what you mean by "cumulative Bid Vol vs Ask Vol total"?

The sum of the Bid Volume and Ask Volume is just Volume (or Total Volume). So you can see that by adding the Volume study:
Volume

But, if you want to specifically add the Bid Volume and Ask Volume, then refer to the Arithmetic Studies here:

I would like to see the total Bid Volume and see the total Ask Volume. In the subgraph study. Is this possible?
