Hi,

Is it still possible to connect 3 separate instances of Sierra from the same comp to Denali?
I was able to do that but not anymore, once i connect the third one 1 of the other one disconnects.

Thank You!

We reduced the three connections to two connections just to be on the safe side with the exchange.

So you what you need to do is use data sharing between instances for the third instance:

I see, thanks for getting back to me on this.
So, If i were to pay the exchange fees again for a sec comp , would that be considered a third connection by the CME rules?

Thank You

You should be okay with that. That would be just considered two devices.

Even if I have 2 instances on 1 comp that would be considered one connection, sorry just want to make sure.

Thank You!

Yes. Just one device would be how it is considered.

I'm sorry, but is still not clear to me. In my main comp I have 2 separate installs of Sierra and both are connected to Denali. I understood that is allowed. I paid for one more Exchange fee so I can connect with my second comp and it does not let me.

We need to do some testing on this and get back to you. We will do that later today. But can you reconnect all of your installations of Sierra Chart to the data feed:
File Menu: Procedure to Reconnect to the Data and Trade Servers

And see if that resolves the problem.

We have tested this and verified, that the two connections from different devices is properly supported.

This is also confirmed by this:

If you are still experiencing an issue, please reconnect all of the instances of Sierra Chart to the data feed:

Ok, so to clarify you can only have 2 separate installations of Sierra Chart at the same time. With one data feed you can run both in the same computer and if you want to use a 2nd computer you need to pay for the exchange fee again, but you have to close one from the first computer

No. You can have two installations on two computers all running and connected to the Denali data feed at the same time if you are paying two exchange fees. So a total of four.

We are testing this now and it works correctly. We have got a total of three installations, two on one system and one on another.

As we said before if you are still experiencing an issue, please reconnect all of the instances of Sierra Chart to the data feed:
