Hello team, I'm new here. I wish to know if on SC is possible make an "type of order" or just a way to close the trades automatically if I lost my connexion of Internet... or if exist a way to keep de "strategy" or "stop and target" still working if I lost my connexion. For example:

I make a trade, I just buy some instrument at 2225, and I have a SL: 2220 and TP: 2250. Few moments later, I lost the conexión, and can't see my orders or close it. I questions is "The Stop and Target still working on"? "the trailing stop still working if I don't have conexión at SC"?

I just ask that because here, in Latin America is pretty hard the "internet and the "electricity", so, I don't want to lose my account if I lost my internet connexion or lost the electricity for few hours.

Thanks and Blessing.

What broker do you use?

If you have server side orders enabled then the TP & SL are on your brokers servers and once submitted your connection will not cancel them,

@Flipper

I want to open my account with "AMP futures" and use SC as platform, I looking for the best provider of data as well, what do you think I should use, TT, CQG or Rithmic? Thanks.

If I use "AMP futures" can I use the "server side orders"? I mean for the TP & SL still working on?

There is no way to automatically close a position if you lose your internet connection.
To protect your account, you'll want server-side OCO orders (your target and stoploss are at the broker's server, and One Cancels the Other), so use this service:
Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service
With this data feed:
Denali Exchange Data Feed

Sierra Chart doesn't recommend CQG:

Sierra Chart does not support Rithmic any longer:

Yes, AMP supports server-side OCO orders, but you have to enable them: Attached Orders: Management of Attached Orders when Trading Service Supports Server Side OCO Only

Then if you lose power or internet you won't be flying blind.

If you are trading the CME group of markets we recommend using the Sierra Chart Order Routing service:
Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service

Full server-side bracket orders are only supported with that service.

It is recommended that you use the servers in Chicago as the primary and backup servers when using the Sierra Chart order routing service.

Yes, I want to trade the CME group for now, I mean the Nasdaq and S&P 500. But, I don't understand yet how the "data" it's works. I have few questions.

I'll open my account with the broker "AMP futures" as soon as I can for micro futures, but, as how I said, I won't to be flying blind if I lost the power or internet. So:

1) Can I use CQG data service $3 USD + $1 fees (Top of book)(APM OFFERT) (Because I don't need L2 to trade, I don't use DOM or something like that) and be able to use "Sierra Chart Order Routing"? I understand the "Denali data" is "better" but I really can't pay for them at this time, maybe when I grow my account.

2) If I can use "SC order Routing" I just have to enable "server-side OCO orders" and "Server-side Bracket orders"? On "Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> Use Server Side OCO Orders" and it's done? I can trade with cero risk to lose my account if I lose my internet for "4 days" for example? With the CQG data, because is the most cheap. That's is only I need, just be secure with my stop and my target.

3) How I know if "server-side OCO orders" is working?

4) On Trade Windows, I need to select "OCO orders" I guess, for use that.

Sorry if I don't understand before, I just want to be safe, Thanks.

1. No this will not work.

2. Yes this is correct but these options are implied to be on when using the Sierra Chart order routing service so there is nothing special to do other than running a current version.

3. You can tell in the Trade Activity Log. Refer to:
Attached Orders: Management of Attached Orders when Trading Service Supports Server Side Bracket Orders

4. You will need to use Attached Orders:
