Windoze decided it was more important to restart for a software update than let me decide if it was safe to do so, losing hours and hours of work while I was running a test.

Any chance SC makes regular backups? I don't see anything useful in the backups folder but thought I'd check. Perhaps a temp file somewhere?

There is an option to automatically save Chartbooks periodically:
General Settings Window: Auto-Save Chartbooks and Spreadsheets (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Chartbooks)
