We are aware of a problem involving the historical daily data from our data provider Barchart where their server is giving an error and not returning any data.

We have provided details about it to them. Please do not post on this board about this issue.

This is going to cause missing data in historical daily and higher timeframe charts, and existing data to not update and be old.

This issue is now resolved.

To update the Historical Daily charts, select this command:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Download Data For All Historical Charts

It does not appear to be resolved for all symbols. SAVE is missing daily candles after 5/29

We do not observe this. Data is received all the way up until June 3 for that symbol.


Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Fully re-download the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >>Delete All Data and Download".

After about a minute provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

Ok you are doing the historical data download from a sub instance. The easiest solution is to update to the current version of Sierra Chart:

And then re-download the data again.

Here is an update. I tried it from the primary instance and deleting all worked there but it did not in the sub-instance.

Okay, I updated the primary instance to be sure it was on the same version as the sub instance and made sure SAVE displayed correctly there. I then opened the sub instance and it is now working.
