I have a trading account with Interactive Brokers and hence have linked its data feed with SC for API interfacing / Position Order Management.

In addition, I also have an SC Exchange Data Feed with a subscription to BATS Exchange.

Do I need all this? Please advise which one of these are required to work efficiently with Stocks only:

1) IBKR data feed (I know you don't have a good opinion about their issues)
2) SC Exchange data feed. Is is essential in addition to the IBKR data feed or only one of them is required?
3) BATS Exchange subscription. Is it also required?

Your guidance will help in reducing my excessive monthly subscription costs.

Well if you want reliable data you definitely will want to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed when using Interactive Brokers. So that is required.

It is fine to use BATS data if that is satisfactory for you. Otherwise, use the US equities exchange:

If you require less than 20 real-time symbols you can reduce the Sierra Chart exchange data feed cost down to 25 USD per month. You can control that on the page linked above.

Is it possible to just use the SC Exchange Data Feed with my IBKR Account or do I need to keep both data feeds to use my Interactive Brokers account?

You cannot use the data from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed within the Interactive Brokers software if that is what you are asking about.

Actually this is not what i am asking.

What I am asking is that can I link my IBKR trading account with SC Exchange Data Feed (without the IBKR Data feed)?
or,
Do I need to keep both data feed along with BATS exchange to use my IBKR account with SC.

Right now I have three subscriptions and I want to reduce the duplicate data feed / exchange if not required. These are:
1. SC Exchange Data Feed
2. IBKR Data Feed, and
3. BATS Exchange Subscription.

Hope it is clear now ...

Yes. This is explained here:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Integration with Trading Services

But there is a complication with this. Did you want to trade from those charts using the BATS exchange symbols?

I have been trying to understand all this for last 2-3 months and I think need more than a 1 liner response to get a handle on this.

From this discussion, I think I should discontinue my IBKR data feed and just connect my live IBKR account (with its API settings) with the SC Exchange Data Feed which is more reliable. Is my understanding correct?

If this is the case then why do I need a subscription to the BATS exchange?

It looks like there are two options only (It is for Stocks Trading only):
1. Just stick to the IBKR Data feed (although you guys have many issues with it) - No SC Exchange Data Feed and BATS Exchange
2. Use the IBKR account (without IBKR data feed) connected to the SC Exchange Data Feed - Again no BATS Exchange subscription.

Would appreciate your response. I am sure one of those data feed is redundant.

Yes definitely more reliable when it comes to providing Sierra Chart data.

You need to pay for one of the exchanges, either "US Equities" or BATS for the streaming data for either one.

1, 2. Answered above.
