I have not been able to get sierra charts to work consistently for weeks now. help please

for the past 3 weeks, every time I open sierra charts there is another error. I love your platform and have tons of Wyckoff indicators written in that I can't access. Now when I go to choose my data provider: rithmic I get a message saying (Not Enabled on Package) I haven't changed anything and have been using it this way for months. If I did change something, please let me know what I need to do to put it back the way it was. I am paying for data with Earn2Trade. I downloaded the DTC files you posted to put in the RIM folder and it worked for about 4 hours. Then I got more error messages

The other problem I have is it's telling me I need to update to the newest version, but when I do that I get an error saying "Error saving files to local system" I have sent you guys the log from this.

I have attached screenshots for you to see, but I am begging you, Please help me do whatever it takes to get sierra charts up and running so I can trade again.

Now when I go to choose my data provider: rithmic I get a message saying (Not Enabled on Package)
Apparently you are logging in with the wrong Sierra Chart account. You need to login with the Sierra Chart account you have posted this message with:

Regarding the error with updating Sierra Chart, we would have to look at the installer log to see what the problem is but the easiest thing to do is just to use the zip installer:

IF I have a different account, then I'm not aware of it.. this is the same username and password that I have been logging into for years.
please if you know of a different one, let me know what it is as I haven't been able to use sierra charts practically all month and I paid for it.

Ok, so you are saying that the Rithmic is service is still showing not enabled? Your account is certainly active. We can also give you a time extension to make up for any days you were not able to use Sierra Chart.

I think I finally have it all sorted out. Today was the first day all month I was able to use Sierra Charts, and I had a good day on top of it. So I had to download the latest zip file, extract it in a file folder I called Sierra directly under my C:/ Drive. So I extracted everything there, copy all of the rithmic files into the RIM folder. So the only problem I currently have is I can't get a historical chart. Daily/Weekly/Monthly. All intraday works great, even the chart trading went through directly to the Rithmic server for Earn2Trade.

So if somebody can explain to me how I can get historical End of day charts, then we can close this whole problem.

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:

Fully re-download the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >>Delete All Data and Download".

After about a minute provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

Ok now we recognize the problem. For proper historical data support when using Rithmic you need to be on the Advanced Sierra Chart service package 5:
To change your Sierra Chart Service Package, select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link.

You will need to login if you are not currently logged in.

In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button.

The remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price.

There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted.


We do not recommend using the Standard package with Rithmic. Otherwise, you will have ongoing historical data issues. For now we have given you a trial of the Advanced package.
