Greetings,

I use Historical Data Type for weekly and Intraday Data format for daily charts.

I tried to fix the price gap between these 2 data formats by using "deleting&download data" procedure, didnt help.
Tried it with Server 1 & server 2 using Denali Feed.

My weekly chart has a friday close at 1.98, the daily ("00:00:00 - 23:59:59" session time for timezone "+1 CET") has a clos at 1.874.

So there is a clear mismatch in the historical data that needs to get fixed...but how?

Kind Regards

Tried it with Server 1 & server 2
Those servers are for trading only. Not market data.

Directly from the CME website:

Henry Hub Natural Gas Futures Settlements for friday 24th April:

June 20 contract LAST 1.874 ; SETTLE 1.895

The weekly has a close @ 1.98. What am i missing?

What servers are for Market Data then? Am i supposed to manually switch to another server?

No definitely not. Nothing you need to do. This is not something users control.

For Friday, April 24, we see a close of 1.895 for NGM20. So we are not sure how you are coming to the conclusion otherwise. Try re-downloading the data for the last few bars:

Did what you suggested:

RED Msg: Download Failed

I attached a .png file.

Because i deleted all NatGas data files i have no historical data at all.
Sometimes it fixed things for me. Not this time.

Okay that is unusual.

Follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings:
Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings

After that download the data again:

Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart.

If you are using a sub instance we recommend that you update to the latest prerelease to make the downloading process easier so you do not have to do the download in the main instance.:

Tried it again. No Red Msg. ;The download limit is gone and the symbol gets found.

Problem: no historical data gets downloaded, as if there is non on the server. Meaning that the software is downloading all the data from the server and shows the green msg at the end but there is no price data for the symbol at all. Historical Charts only show todays price range, thats it.

Some instances Data Folder contains NG Data files. So the download must have worked.

But somehow the charts only show todays pricerange for 4000 days to load.

Non-continuous or continuous charts have the same result.

I made a completely new chart in a new chart book...doesnt solve the problem either.

Checked some daily NatGas contract files, all of them are empty...no price information at all, just the first row.

Dont know, if it is related to the download limit.

You have reached the maximum allowed Historical Daily data download limit for the month. We do have to pay for those queries. We will need to add an option for the user to purchase more queries.

You did build SC like it is for good reasons.

But the thing is simply this: even if i let run my PC 24/7, the limit still messes up my chart. I guess the mandatory daily download isnt getting any data and this screws timestamping.

Thankfully its the last day of the month...cant wait.

We do apologize for this issue. We are working on removing this limit. The data comes from an external source, where we are billed for queries so there is a limit we need to place. We just had to get the situation under control because some users had a lot of queries and part of the problem was unnecessary data downloading being done in some earlier versions under certain conditions. This has all been resolved.

We are going to clear the limit temporarily.
