I am experiencing a lag when placing orders on the chart. My broker is Infinity. When I place a bracket order I can see on the Infinity Dom that the buy/sell has been placed. This is not reflected on the charts. It takes >10 seconds for my chart to update. When I do get an update the bracket has not been placed - there are no stop or target orders. I place my orders using the chart trading Dom. This issue started about 3 days ago. I have checked CPU, memory and internet connection - all are fine. I have the latest Sierra Chart. Do you have any ideas on what this might be? Thanks |

This must be due to the the Transact websocket API not providing the order update messages immediately. So when the order update comes in for the parent order, do the Target and Stop orders then clear from the chart?

Yes they do and the parent order moves to the fill price. When I place an order via the Infinity Dom it works fine - this implies to me that the communication is messed up in both directions. Is there a solution? Is there another broker that I can use for futures where the connection works well?

Transact did contact us about this. We did a test and could not reproduce so we are adding additional logging to see what the problem is. In regards to your other question, there are other systems supported.
