Under certain circumstances, SC will re-download continuous contract data on startup.
- Must be starting a sub-instance
- Chartbooks are set to open on startup
- The same symbol is open in multiple chartbooks
- At least one of the charts for the symbol is set to continuous contract

When those conditions are met SC re-downloads the full set of continuous contract data for the affected symbols, which can add several minutes to the startup time. The issue persists after following the procedure to re-download data in the main and sub instances Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Re-Downloading Continuous Futures Contract Data

I can confirm this as well. I use SC v2086. I used the delete and download option in the main instance. Didnt work....still re-downloading on startup. So i deleted manually all daily symbol data files in all instances.

Now it works like a charme again. SC loads all my charts in roughly 1min.

Not sure what to say about post #3 without further analysis. We would not expect there to be any further problem but if you no longer have it we just have to let it go for now.

2086 fixed the issue, but just for the record I saw the same thing as post #3.

On the first startup after updating to 2086, the issue remained. After deleting all data and re-downloading, the issue did not occur on subsequent startups.
