I restarted a paid subscription to SC today. Didn't have my old password so I reset it, however I kept getting an "Invalid Account Name or Password" message. I tried resetting it again, and even though the "action result" said my password was reset, I'm still getting the Invalid message when I try to login to Sierra Chart.

Having a problem here. I switched from a free SC platform through Amp earlier this month, and I paid for the Package 3 plaform for three months. This was billed to my credit card on April 3. However, today I attempted to setup SC with Interactive Brokers, and when setting up the Data/Trade service, I saw that it said "Not enabled on package". I then checked in Account Control, and it said I was on an "Evaluate Advanced Package" status. But again, I paid for a standard #3 package. I know that the login info to SC stayed the same as before with the free subscription through Amp, so that could be the problem. I'm listed with two account names, and I paid for the subscription under my own name, so I'm thinking I should probably login with that, though I was assigned the same login credentials as the free Amp service after making payment. Please advise on how to proceed. |

We apologize for the delay. You do need to login to Sierra Chart with your own direct account to be able to use Interactive Brokers, not the one from AMP, following the instructions here: Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions: Login with a Different Sierra Chart Account Name You should install a separate copy of Sierra Chart to use with Interactive Brokers: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
