Hallo,
I have in chart region2 Volume and other indicators. And I would like to see actual value of those indicators when I move Crosshair. At this moment I can see only one value, the actual.
Can you, please, help me with that?
Thank you.

Hi,
thank you for your advice. But this is not what I meant. Recently, in my older PC where was also Sierra Chart, I could simply move Crosshair and values of indicators changed. There was not necessary to open another window.
Please, any another idea?
Thank you.

Hello:

I am having the same issue and I have go over the section Viewing tool and chart data when using tools. I do not want to have the pop up Value windows or any other window to see the values of the indicators, just want to see them change while I am scrolling the crosshair around all the chart

can it be more specific?
Thanks

To see the values of the data while moving the crosshair, you have to have the Tool Value Window open. The values are displayed in that window. They are not available as a pop-up or highlight as you move around the chart.

Additionally, if you open the window and the values are not changing as you move the crosshairs, then you have opened the incorrect window - rather you have opened the Chart Values Window. Close that one and open the Tool Values Window.

John

Thank you very much for your prompt replay, but that is not what I need. Allow me to rephrase:

What I need it is to be able to move the crosshair around the chart and see for example for the RSI on region 2, how the values changes at the Region Data line without the need of the Tool Value window, just want the ability to see the values changing on each region data line while moving the crosshair across the chart. I have seen other Sierra charts users that have that ability , but haven't found where and how to set it since for the moment the only value that displays is the value of the last bar on the chart

Thanks in advance

What you are asking for does not exist. If you have seen other users doing this, then they either have a special program they are using or you are seeing something different from the specific item you are asking about.

In general, the only way to see the values as you move the crosshair is to use one of the Tool Values Windows.

Here are some options:
- In the Region Data Line, as you scroll the chart, the last bar that is displayed shows its value (i.e. it is not always the last bar in the chart, it is the last bar displayed). So you can see the data as you scroll. This is not true with the crosshairs.

- There is a "Compact Tool Values Window" which also has an option for a Horizontal layout. This is most likely what you have seen other people using. Refer to the following:
Chart Drawing Tools: Horizontal Compact Tool Values Window
