To see the values of the data while moving the crosshair, you have to have the Tool Value Window open. The values are displayed in that window. They are not available as a pop-up or highlight as you move around the chart. Additionally, if you open the window and the values are not changing as you move the crosshairs, then you have opened the incorrect window - rather you have opened the Chart Values Window.
