I know how to connect with GAIN. via file>connect feed. Still nothing.I was on with no problem last night just FYI

Gain appears to be down again. Even their white-label platform (Stage5 OEC Trader) is not fully loading or showing data.

Edit: It appears the Gain platform S5 Trader was working; however, my quoteboard became corrupt which gave me the impression it wasn't working.

Yep. Using Denali and Gain (Stage5). I don't know what their problem is. Hopefully things improve after they merge with INTL FC Stone later this year, but I'm not waiting around to find out. I'll likely be leaving them tomorrow for the SC order routing service.

I am using the same Denali with Gain (Stage 5). Thing is the Gain (Stage 5) platform (DOM and quoteboard and charts) are working just fine. I thought maybe the password in Sierra got corrupted. re-entered it no change. Just started happening after the restart of the new day.

Yes, Sierra is not working either. And because the Gain platform is not working either, it confirms the issue is with Gain.

Update...All is working now. The solution (just too busy to take care of it recently) is get rid of Gain - which I will definitely do.

This is/was going to be a Gain Capital server issue.

We recommend users migrate over to the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service if possible:
Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service

Many of you are with Stage 5 and this is supported by Stage 5.

And although there is an additional cost for the Denali Exchange Data Feed which is required when using the Sierra Chart order routing service, it is only 20 USD per month and it is a vastly superior data feed in every way. If you are not trading you can always cancel that feed, and if you are able to get a better commission rate as compared to what you have a Gain Capital, then that would more than offset the cost of the feed.

If you are trading EUREX, we do not have a better solution right now for that. But we plan to add EUREX data feed to the Denali exchange data feed soon.

The Sierra Chart order routing service has worked very very well. We are processing over 50,000 order fills a month through it.

In our expert opinion, this is unlikely to make any difference. It is a sign, of a business which is not stable and not solid and not secure, and does not have profitability which should be the case, if they maintain efficient operations. This is a second time that the OEC platform is changing hands. This is not a good sign.

It is a sign of a problem, and a merger is not going to improve things on the technical side.

Sierra Chart is a very solid platform and we are interfacing with direct FIX connections, a standard, through a very established provider, TT which is used by many major banks. The data feed does not come from CQG or even TT , it is a direct feed from the CME transmitted direct to users.
