When there is a limit down, the SierraChart platform freezes. Is there a way to avoid the freezing even when there is limit down?

This cannot be technically correct. There is another explanation for the issue in your case.

What do you mean by "freezes". Certainly if there is a Limit Down there is not going to be any new data loaded until after the appropriate time has passed. But you should still be able to interact with the program. Let us know if there is something specific happening where you can't interact with the program.
