Hello Sierra,
I use Denali for Data and Gain as my broker. For some reason I have no data feed coming in this morning. I had no problems overnight. Can someone give me a ring to trouble shoot this? 970-963-1819. Thanks for your help. Marc

GAIN is down. This is not an issue with Denali or Sierra. It's GAIN's fault.

Edit: I was getting live data on my charts through Denali, but that has appeared to stop now.

I thought the reason for going with Denali was to avoid such issues?

I have had an alternative data feed for Gain for a while and have not experienced any issues until today. It does appear that Denali is also impacted by this Gain outage, but do not know how or why. I was getting live data and could see the charts updating, although no candles were being drawn.

as i understand Denali feed only supports your broker's feed
so if gain is shut down
you are shut down Denali or not ...
maybe i am wrong but it looks that way

Gain is down again, but I am still getting live price changes through Denali. This is how I would expect it to function. Hopefully SC team can explain this better and how both were down earlier. I wasn't ready to move to the SC order routing yet, but this outage may push me over there.

We apologize for the delay getting back to this. The Denali Exchange Data Feed was never down. It could not be down. It has a fully redundant architecture and so far it has had 100% uptime. Since release, it has not gone down.

When you start Sierra Chart and you cannot connect to Gain Capital, you will not be able to access the Denali Exchange Data Feed data, unless you connect Sierra Chart to SC Data-All Services and translate the symbols. This is explained here:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees

The connection to the Denali Exchange Data Feed is not going to occur unless you can connect to Gain Capital. So you need to use the method described above to work around this.

When you have successfully connected to Gain Capital and that connection is lost, the Denali exchange data feed will continue until you manually select File >> Disconnect or you restart Sierra Chart. It will also stop if you do not have Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Reconnect on Failure enabled.

We recommend that all of you move over from Gain Capital to this service:
Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service

If you need help, let us know.

This is not correct. And is explained above.
