I received an email the other day explaining my account balance was too low for order routing service and I needed to add more funds if I wanted to continue to use that method.

I did not sign up for order routing service when I purchased my data package so I dont know why I got that email but I just want to clarify that I did not purchase that method and do not wish to get that set up

Another reason for the email is I clicked on my DOM to drag it to another part of the screen and it acted as if I put in an order to buy and seems it was accepted because I had to click the sell column for my position to clear out so I want to figure out if that was a simulator or an actual trade as Im not aware of a simulator but I know I did not sign up and purchase the order routing service method

In regards to this, you are using this service:
Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service

If you do not want to use this service, you need to contact your broker about that.

you must have clicked in the buyer sell column when you did this. The order would have been live if Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On was enabled.

I will call them in the morning to get more information and clarify on the subject but how could this be so because my data package is completely separate from my broker I chose to purchase your guys data package and just fund an AMP futures account with the minimum $100 to take advantage of the discount exchange fee

I purchased the "CME with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts" and I remember specifically not choosing the order routing service as I wanted to make sure I set up everything properly and correctly so I honestly believe this is not a fault on my part but I will call AMP in the morning to clarify

Not even sure how an order was approved as I wouldnt believe I even have enough margin for the trade

Do you want to do any live trading? Do you have a trading account other than the $100 account with AMP? Based on the answers we will give you guidance on what to do.

No I do not wish to do any live trading, I have a funded futures account with TD ameritrade and do my trading through them

I still would like to get some clarification on exactly what the issues is and how this took place as I stated above I do not feel this is an error on my part and If i remember correctly the trade
that was initiated in order to close took a 1 tick loss and if that is the case I do not feel as if I should be responsible, I still have to call AMP to clarify if any orders were in fact executed
and where the funds to do so came from as far as margin requirement but to me my brokerage account with AMP should be completely separate from you guys as far as data and order routing goes simply
because i chose your guys data package and only opened an account with AMP to take advantage of the discount exchange fee which I was told was just for verification purposes

In this case set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service to " SC Data - All Services".

And then use this command to translate the symbols:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service (Translate Symbols to Current Service)

You can also disregard the notice about the account balance.

When I go to global settings >> Data trade/service settings >> service my settings are already set to "SC data - all services"

If it has been set that way at the time of the trade you mentioned, then the trade was not live/real.

I called AMP to clarify they said there was no live trade activity done on their end so I assume it was a simulator,

Still dont understand how in the beginning of our messages you had stated in regards to the order routing service you are using that method but I did not sign up for that method when I purchased my data package

Well you did certainly open an account with AMP and it is set up on the Sierra Chart/TT order routing service. This is necessary to meet CME requirements for market data. That is a real account. But you do not have to use it.

Can you have someone contact me about this, I dont think we are on the same understanding. When i chose and purchased my data package from sierra charts i was asked if i wanted to use the order routing service or not which there was a $5 difference for either option, I specifically remember setting it up via no order routing service as I do not need it and have no use to set it up because i trade through TD ameritrade, I dont see why I would be asked to determine between the two if your saying this is necessary to meet the CME requirements.

Long story short I do not want to run into an issue like I did where accidentally an order was placed and I have to worry about it potentially being a live trade or not, before you had said it was not a live trade so to me that seems that I do not have the order routing service set up but your saying i do, Im not sure where the disconnect is as far as what im trying to explain but I know that when i signed up i was asked to get the service or not and i chose not to and i want to keep it that way

You could contact AMP and have them disable trading on your account. They have the ability to do that through the TT user set up. That would be the best thing to do.

The reason the trading account is necessary through this order routing service is for the purpose of authorizing the CME data.
