Hello,

I was curious about the setup process for AMP users that wish to use Sierra Chart Order Routing + Denali Exchange data.

Do AMP users need to enable CME Exchange data on the following form on their website: https://clients.ampfutures.com/live-trading-setup-request

I see there is also a section on your website that allows users to activate exchange data as well. Should AMP users be enabling CME data on both forms? Will enabling CME data on both AMP's website and Sierra Chart's site incur double charges? Or are users required to enable them on both in order to execute trades?

Any advice could help as this process has been a bit confusing!
Thanks!

All we can say in regards to this, is that if user wants to pay for what we call the Denali Exchange Data Feed through their AMP account, AMP will handle the activation of that feed and the user should not activate that data feed on their Sierra Chart account themselves.

We cannot answer any questions about AMP forms.

Thank you for your response.

Just to be clear, if an AMP user enables the following fields that I have provided in my screenshot (CME Exchange data), then they will receive Denali exchange data on Sierra Chart, be charged directly through their AMP account, and should not enable anything on your site to avoid double charges. Correct?

Thanks for your help. I have tried to ask AMP's support team about this, but they seem to be a bit unsure of the process as well, so I figured i'd reach out to you for final say.

Thanks!

I'm setting up with AMP (through Optimus) now, too. I wanted to keep the Sierra Chart software, Denali data feed, and exchange data fees billed directly through Sierra. On AMP's setup form, I originally told them not to set up a data feed for me. I explained to Optimus how I wanted to get set up, and this is what they said:

Hi xxx,

You would have actually needed to choose the Sierra Chart - TT-W (FIX) - $20 per month (SC-Daneli Exchange Data) on AMP's setup request form.

Here are the instructions to get started with TT Order routing and Denali feed via your AMP account: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartOrderRoutingServiceWithData.php#SetupInstructions

As the instructions imply, the first step of the process is to login to your Sierra Chart account and fill out the following form: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=SCOrderRoutingServiceTradingAccountAssignmentRequestForm

Existing Trading Account Number: #xxxxxx
Clearing Firm Name: AMP Global Clearing
Introducing Broker: Optimus Futures

Sierra Chart does not actually contact us at all during this period. There is essentially communication between AMP, Sierra, and TT. If you did not choose the option or data on AMP's setup request form, there will essentially be nothing linking your platform back to your AMP account. If you need further assistance, I can fill out AMP's form for you so you can properly be configured. You are also more than welcome to fill out the form yourself if you are comfortable. Please let me know.

Based on that, I resubmitted AMP's setup form with the "Sierra Chart - TT-W (FIX)" option and the CME bundle checked. I'm pretty sure AMP is going to bill me for the data feed and exchange fees, but at this point I'd just like to get set up. I can sort out the data feed later, if necessary.

What we can say in regards to this, is that if they enable the CME data through the AMP website, they certainly should not enable anything on the Sierra Chart website.

This does not make sense you would choose this option through AMP if you want to pay for everything through your own Sierra Chart account.

This does not make sense you would choose this option through AMP if you want to pay for everything through your own Sierra Chart account.

Can you please elaborate on how this does not make sense?

With a quick glance on AMP's onboarding sheet (I know you do want to speak on their behalf, but this is important being that we want AMP clients to be configured correctly): https://clients.ampfutures.com/live-trading-setup-request, there is only one option for Sierra Chart - TT-W (FIX) - $20 per month (SC-Daneli Exchange Data). In my opinion, this option seems like you would be charged through your AMP account not through Sierra Chart directly.

If the option above is to be charged through your Sierra Chart account directly, then how do AMP users pay for this data feed through their AMP account? It seems that there are some conflicting answers going on that need to be clarified for AMP users.

Thanks!

It simply does not make sense because if you are paying for the Sierra Chart service package, the data feed, market data exchange fees, and transaction fees, there simply would be nothing you pay to AMP other than fees related to per contract trades. So the 20 USD per month simply was not going to be applicable.

We will ask AMP about this.

then how do AMP users pay for this data feed through their AMP account?
We are also confused by what you are saying. So you want to pay through your AMP account?

So you want to pay through your AMP account?

Yes, please clarify the process if a user wants to pay for order routing and Sierra Chart data services directly from their AMP account.

Can you please also clarify the process from an AMP user's perspective if they would like to pay for everything directly through their Sierra Chart account?

AMP does not have any documentation on their end in order to get this configured nor do their employees seem to understand the entire process. The documentation on your side is helpful, but is confusing from an AMP user's perspective.

Thanks!

yes, there could even be a sticky thread on SC forum for all AMP customers using SC TT net routing + Denali (or full feed) so the same question does not have to repeatedly answered by SC support since AMP support is confusing a bit as mentioned :-)
