PREVIOUSDAYCLOSE alert reference not working

The formula:

= PREVIOUSDAYCLOSE > 0

shows "Error: #NAME?" in the alert log. By contrast, something like "= DAILYHIGH > 0" works as expected.

I am connected to the data feed.

Incidentally, what I really need is to see the Daily Change Percent -- is this available for an alert formula, instead of calculating it myself?

At some point PREVIOUSDAYCLOSE changed to PREVCLOSE. We have updated the documentation to show it as PREVCLOSE now. We apologize the documentation was not up-to-date.

In terms of Daily Change Percent, you would have to calculate it yourself. You can do it either in the Alert itself, or by using the Arithmetic studies to create a Subgraph that would have the value you want that you could test against.
