I have a followup question... I've activated Denali and a level 5 sub with you guys now, my data feed looks frozen, which I assume is because I haven't logged in with my trading account the required 1x/month yet. How do I do this for either Tradovate or TDA as I have active trading accounts with both of them.

I asked Tradovate if they needed to enable anything on their end and they were unaware of anything that needed to be done.
Thanks for your time.

We have activated the data feed until the middle of February for now. But there must be a technical means to verify you have a trading account. The simplest method is what we describe here:
Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement

The next method would be for Tradovate to set you up with a CQG account and authorize it for Sierra Chart access and you connect Sierra Chart to it every month. The above solution is much more seamless. You only need to have $100 deposit. And that is the solution that we recommend.

I am requesting Tradovate set me up with a CQG account. Not a fan of wasting $15/mo for no reason, so I may just switch over to AMP for my trading account.

On a side note, my clearing firm is Dorman Trading, I see they are listed as a TT provider. Why can't I use this to activate the Sierra Chart Futures Order Routing Service With Data?

Sierra Chart uses a technical means to verify a trading account.

Yes we agree.

Thank you for the followup, one last question hopefully. Pretty certain I will move my account over to AMP to reduce complexity. I'm assuming once I go through the process you guys outline in this link: Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement

Once this is complete, I will do both my charting and trading through SC. Will I need to modify my denali data subs at all? Thanks for your time.

We probably misunderstood what you are saying, you can have Dorman set you up with an account on the TT system to be used with the Sierra Chart order routing service and that will serve to verify you have a trading account and you can also trade on that account as well.

So please check with Dorman on this first. Then you do not have to move to AMP. So you could just tell them to set up an account on TT with a small balance. This would be good to get started with.

Sorry about the confusion.

They won't do it, just gonna switch to AMP and get rid of all this nonsense. I may ask that you extend my active data a little longer as I wait to move $$ out of one broker and into another, sorry for the hassle.

Your Sierra Chart account does not expire until 2020-05-07 and the Denali data feed is active until the end of this month, so there is enough time.
