I am trying to send an alert to an email and but i only want the user defined name nothing else. Is this possible?

So if i follow that set up and its still not sending my user defined name what can be done?

There is definitely not a problem with this. We tested this and only the user defined name was sent. What is the option you enabled for this in Global Settings >> General Settings?
