How do you change the Date Range to load from today's date starting backwards?

see attached

it is showing august

it is Sierra data feed (free) Forex data

in the screnshot "Use Number of Days to load' is not checked but when it is it still does not change to today 12/17

All my futures charts load from today going backwards to # of days to load fine

Does that not just mean that 2019-08-21 is the last record in the data file?

Maybe you need to reconnect and downlaod more data?

'Use Number of Days to load' is what I am using to achieve what you ask.

how can I get it to download more data? It takes a long time for Forex (much longer than futures) and I don't need data that is from the summer... just recent data

yes 'use number of days' is what I usually use, it just wasn't on the screenshot because I was trying to fix the problem using the other method of loading data.

but use number of days also has the greyed out value as a date in August

I assumed (probably wrongly) that you were simply disconnected from the data feed, hence no new data, maybe I am wrong?

You could just change the 'Max Number of Days to Download'
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/DataSourceSettings.php#MaxHistoricalIntradayDaysToDownload

Yes, because it is the last date in the file and you can't change it.
