When I first saw the Twitter alert section on the website, I thought it meant you could have certain tweets actually sent THROUGH Sierra Chart. All I'm seeing is the ability to have alerts from SC sent TO your twitter or email. Is it possible to have specific twitter handles you follow, ie: news, traders you follow, etc., sent to your screen in Sierra Chart? This would be amazing. I've tried to search, but being premarket, I havent had time to really dig in. Would love some help here. Thanks! Hope you all are having a good week. |

TradingView has this and I agree, I would like to have a built-in tweet client like Tweeten or Nitter.net that automatically adds tweets dots to the chart. Each dot would then be able to have formatting options: Show Hide Font Size Color Border Show time Show link Show OHLC at time of tweet. Etc. Would also like to be able to paste images to the chart. |

Also, some things that TradingView doesn't do: 1) Automatically add posts to the chart (you have to copy/paste each one). I prefer a vertical view (like with tweeten/tweetdeck) that lets me enter search terms and get all the tweets shown added automatically to the chart. 2) Translation. TradingView doesn't offer any translations, so people that don't speak English have difficulty with English, and people that speak in Chinese or Russian that tweet, waste time in trying to display and translate. I would like to see automatic translation to a selected language and have that language show on the chart and in the tweetdeck automatically. Again, with a simple toggle to turn on and off individual tweets from displaying on the chart (a checkbox or switch next to each tweet). And it might be nice to see this work not just with Twitter, but also with other social media platforms and RSS feeds. |
