Rithmic connection error unable to connect

Hi, I can't connect to Rithmic on Sierra Chart
Was able to connect yesterday and can connect to Rithmic on another trading platform.

The message says "Connection error message from service: Ricthmic Trading | Logon error received from Server".

It is not good and is not something we cannot help with. It is a Rithmic software issue. This is one reason why we have this section:

We can recommend that you use this service instead:

Or the supported CQG service.

Or if you are unable to solve it you could not renew Sierra Chart. For the time being we are adding two weeks of usage time to your Sierra Chart account to get time to resolve it and look at other possibilities.

Thank you for your reply.
I have just filled out the request form for the order routing service that you recommend but I'd like to know more.

Do I need to have an existing account with TT?
If I'm currently not using any service provided by TT (data/platform/brokerage etc.), is there any requirement other than having a live trading account that I need to meet in order to use the service?

Apart from the order routing fee of 0.10 USD per contract per side, and assuming that the TT standard account assigned only utilizes Sierra Chart, is there any other cost that I need to be aware of?

Just to let you know that the connection error is solved.

I brought the issue to GFF brokers tech support.
They say it probably was windows update that caused the connection error issue.
They told me to uncheck .NET Framework in Windows Features, restart windows and recheck .NET Framework in Windows Features.
I also encountered Windows Update Error 0x80070490 when I tried to re-check .NET Framework.
I repaired Windows Update, recheck .NET Framework in Windows Update, restarted windows just in case and now I can connect to Rithmic on SC.

You would never have the problem that you did, and you would never have to go through post #5, for services which use standard connectivity in Sierra Chart which is all of them other than Rithmic.
