Hi. I just opened a new account and I am looking at what would be the best data sections to make. Here is my situation. I plan on subscribing to the Service Package 5. I will be using the charts for day trading futures, mostly indexes, maybe some stocks.I have accounts with TOS (personal so all real time data is avail at no additional charge) and IB (a personal business account so they consider me a "professional") so only have real time options data there. To add futures, etc would be another 122.50/mo. I plan on doing the actual trading in my IB account.

However I noticed that it says that real-time futures market data is not supported for TOS. So I am confused about where i get the real time futures data from. I see something about "Real_Time Exchange Data Feeds Available from Sierra Chart", and maybe i need to purchase that also? And since i have the personal account with TOS with more than $500, i think it shows the Full CME Group fees for nonprofessional trading accounts is 3.25/mo. Also not sure if I need market depth for profile charts?

And the Data Feed Pricing for the Sierra chart Exchange Data Feed for 20 Real-Time Symbols (is this at one time, can only use same 20 forever? ) is $25/mo. Since I only see myself using this for the indexes and maybe /cl is that enough for now? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Our first question is are you considered a professional by the CME?

And there is no longer any support for market data from TD Ameritrade. There is currently but we have to make that clear now because it is going to go away in the coming months. And we do not want to provide any technical support for it.

Thanks for your reply. I have never dealt with CME. I went to their website and i dont know how i could be considered a professional. I trade my own small accounts. I know you are stopping support with TOS in 2020. I have an account there but i dont want their data since it does not provide futures data which is what i want to chart and trade. I thought i could purchase data from you from what i read on your site and since i currently have a trading account with TOS with over $500, the exchanges gave me a break on the pricing.

I just need real time data for Sierra Charts. I dont plan on placing trade orders thru Sierra Charts or any links that can be set up. I will trade directly with my broker but i need the data just for charting.

I hope this makes sense. Please let me know.

Thanks.

Scott

Therefore, you will want to use this data feed:
Denali Exchange Data Feed

Instructions are on that page.

And you will need to connect Sierra Chart your trading account as explained here:

Who said this?

You do not need market depth data.
