So, more disconnects to the TransACT Websocket.

If have made contact with TransAct and they (of course) say they are waiting to hear back from Sierra about the issues.

I've sent my message log so you can look at it.

As I told TransAct, I've just about had enough of working through this issue - it's costing me money in lost trades.

Not blaming either side... just want permanent fix.

Thanks,
Elena

We have had a look at your Message Log, and there are no corrupted frames like we have been seeing previously with the binary Price packet processing.

Instead, the Transact server is gracefully closing the connection . We did tell them about this earlier. And we told them about it again, and they confirmed receipt of that message, and they are passing it along to their engineers.

I quick question
I thought subscribing to the DeNali service would mean that I continue to get data regardless of the connection to TansAct??? Could someone explain this please.

There is a connection to Transact to verify you have a funded trading account to meet CME requirements. You only need to connect once a month and therefore you will avoid any connectivity issues to Transact by not connecting to Transact at other times.

But this requires that you directly pay for Sierra Chart and do not launch it through the Transact software. For the instructions, refer to:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/TransAct.php#SierraChartDiscountForTransactUsers

You will need to set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service to "SC Data-All Services"

And then use this command to translate the symbols:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service
