is it possible to divide a chart region into grids, and then populate each grid with a different study. Each grid would show the study rising and falling via a horizontal square. So one chart region could have 4 studies on top of each other showing different studies rising and falling using the 20, 40, 60, 80 horizontal grid

looking to see a momentum move in different studies at the same time.

Yes this is controlled through the Chart Region setting with studies:
Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Chart Region

And you can also add Horizontal Lines to a Chart Region:
Chart Studies: Adding a Horizontal Line to an Existing Study

You can also use the Horiontal Lines study, or the Horizonal Line Drawing Tool. Refer to the following:
Horizontal Lines

and
Chart Drawing Tools: Horizontal Line | Horizontal Ray | Horizonal Line Non-Extended | Vertical Line

To do what you want in post #2 requires that you use the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study:
Color Bar Based on Alert Condition

However, we will need to add a new Input setting to have it support drawing at a custom value. So that you can use different values for each row.

Letting you know this is now in version 1957.
