I can not find the custom study that i downloaded to the Data file.
not see? Or do you see it in the custom studies list but can't run it?

Possible reasons:

1)
32-bit/64-bit dll
How to Use an Advanced Custom Study or a Study Collection: Custom Study Not Listed or Not Displaying on Chart

2)
the library (dll file) is inside the file-archive (ZIP, RAR, ARJ ....)

3)
the library (dll file) has a bad location, it's not in the DATA folder

4)
the library was made for a higher version of Sierrachart than you have installed

5)
if it's a third party study, maybe ... you don't have permission to use it

I had previously had the custom study that I prepared on my custom studies, but it no longer appears their. It was working perfectly and now it appears to be lost.

Is the laptop running the same version of Sierra Chart as your desktop?

If there was a large jump in versions when you upgraded, then it is possible that the developer of the study has to do a recompile in order for the study to work with the latest version of Sierra Chart. This really is an issue that you need to discuss with the developer.

Refer to item 7 here:
Resolving Custom Study File and Access Issues: Custom Study Problems - Things to Check

And the DLL may have a dependency on an external file that is not present. The developer of the custom study will be able to help with that.

Although actually, the reason for the issue in some cases can be determined from the Message Log as long as the DLL file is present. Restart Sierra Chart and try to access the custom study again and then provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions here:
