SPREADS coulda wouldya create a chart called spread chart?

I am wondering about how many resources are being used in sierra in order to get spread chart with the difference study you have to open 2 charts to get a third chart(spread) It works, but most chart companies even free ones online allow users to create spreads very simply using 2 cariables and the operators like +,-, divide and multiply along with a space for a multiple on top of this or you can just use the (*) and do it manually. It would be great if you created a new chart type called spread chart that would allow us to put in symbol - symbol and chart exactly what we want without having to use up all the resources also if you want to look around at different spreads you have to always go and open new charts for each symbol then run the difference study everytime! or you could allow this in the symbol area under chart settings (main chart settings) then we could write an expression and it could be expressed. not asking you to reinvent the wheel but the difference study is good in a lot of ways but also a new chart type called spread chart would be great. any possibility of this getting on your radar? thanks |

There are two new (relatively new) ways of doing this. I appreciate your quick response and well directed answer. I had one more question? I started using the precision spread chart study and it also has a lot of steps. Is it possible or could it be on your radar to allow a chart actually called spread chart where the parameters could be set by the user as far as the spread expression? +,_, X, /? and we could set in a box the UPDATE INTEVAL- say 10 seconds or 3 seconds or 1 minute depending on what we are trying to do. I feel like this would reduce resources on users computers and make charting these products much simpler. I would think that since you are starting to charge for excellent routing at a good price that possibly getting double routing fees might be a good reason to work on this idea, but I do appreciate your current answer to my problems.
