I have removed a chart study which was in Chart Region 3 but I have a white space/band across the bottom of my chart window where it was located is still visible, shrinking the other 2 regions. How do I reset to remove this? None of the other studies are set to Region 3.

Also, it would be practical if studies could be added to new region windows but if required to be hidden (ie they're used infrequently), then it removes the region window space so its not taking up unnecessary real estate. This is how the problem above came about. I also notice when studies are removed, it resizes the other study windows and makes them larger, requiring them to be resized back again every time. The study windows should not be resized automatically but should maintain the original size setting.

Make sure there are no other studies using a Chart Region below region 3. That would be the only reason it would remain. Or unknowingly there is a study using Chart Region 3 that may be hidden.

Studies can be hidden. Refer to:
Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Hide Study

And the region height percentages do have to be reset when there is a change with the regions used. Otherwise, there is not a practical solution.

Although the solution is just to use preconfigured Study Collections:
Study Collections

Where you have set the region heights as you require.
