why does SC only show historic symbols until ESH19? I'm using SC Historical Data Service and have loaded 600 days back. I can't find anything about that in help or support board.

Did you select a "Continuous Contract" method? You find it under ChartSettings (2nd Tab)

Yes would be best that you just use the Continuous Futures Contract feature:

Yes, I am already using continuous Future Contracts, but when I display data from 2018 it loads always until the actual contract. So I tried to just type ESM18, but SC doesn't save this setting because it's not in the listings.

You can still use that symbol whether it is listed or not and you can also control the last date to load through the Chart >> Chart Settings.

Yes, I know that I can use it, as I wrote, I already used it, but SC does not save this setting, so the next time it loads again all contracts until the actual. So the Question is: what can I do to find more historic symbols in the listing, f.e. ESM18?

Chart >> Chart Settings >> Use Date Range >> To is definitely a saved setting.

Maybe the problem is what is described here:
Unable to Change the Bar Time Period for Charts

But I was talking about the following setting, that isn't saved:
Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol
I type the historic symbol, because it is not in the list.

My question was:
what can I do to find more historic symbols in the listing, f.e. ESM18?

You just manually type/enter the symbol that you want.

And the Symbol setting is saved. That is definite.

"You just manually type/enter the symbol that you want." So what is in that case, when I want to load historical charts with more than one contract?

The symbol setting temporarily is saved and then resets to the actual contract.

Ok we now realize what the problem is because this was never making any sense to us. You must have this option enabled:
Chart Settings: Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu)

Uncheck it. Disable it.

So what is in that case, when I want to load historical charts with more than one contract?
You just also need to use the Continuous Futures Contract setting in this case as well.
