My account is coming up for renewal. i had an existing account balance of only $0.36 (i believe that's what it was, could be mistaken on the exact amount). my renewal amount is 285.12 so i added 285.00 to my account to allow for the renewal. However, my new balance is now only 285. why was the existing balance simply over-written and not added too?

Can you please look into it and make the necessary correction? if you can simply adjust it to $285.12 that would be fine. i'm not concerned with the 20 or so cents, just want to be sure there's no lapse in service.

Yes, please. there should only be one account. can you please roll the 285 payment into the existing account/balance of 0.36?

I have no idea how or why the system would have connected me to the other account. i just checked via the "Account Control Panel" from the Help menu and it took me to the account with the balance.

You know what? i think i do know why this may have happened.

that other account was likely created when i tried using Transact to get SC routed through my Transact account. i didn't like how that worked so i went back to having my own private account. the other account (via transact) likely caused the message i received. so when i clicked on the link that was presented it took me to that other account. i replenished that account not knowing it was a dormant account.

can you please make sure that doesn't happen again?

I'm currently logged into my active account. i'm not sure if these messages are secure (not public) so i won't verify the account name/number unless you need me to.

We have transferred the balance over.

You have made the payment on an older trial account that you have had. We have disabled that account.
