Hi, quick question: A non-US futures market (e.g. YT [Aussie 3 Year Treasury Bond]) has its Currency Value Per Tick configured in Global Settings >> Symbol Settings, and base currency as 'AUD' under the Additional tab. If I have the Common Profit/Loss Currency in the General Trade Settings set as USD, and I've been trading YT, how often does Sierra Chart check the USD-AUD exchange rate? The latest exchange rate is always used if connected to the data feed. So it is continuously fluctuating. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thank you; a few more questions about Symbol Settings: 1) I plan to conduct all trading & reporting on basis of UTC +0 timezone. I have the Time Zone set as UTC +0 in Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings; in Global Symbol Settings 'Intraday' tab, most/all instruments are set as New York/Eastern. Do I need to change the Time Zone to UTC +0 for each Symbol that I plan to monitor/trade, or will SC convert times automatically? 2) I have custom trading hours for each Symbol planned for use - if trading at ACSIL level, should I set those in Evening Start/End Times and enable 'Use Evening Session Times', while leaving Session Start/End as-default? If so, is there an ACSIL function to get the Evening S/E times and/or only allow trading within that timeframe? I could use a simple timer if not, of course...actually I figure this is not the purpose of Evening Session times. In a Spreadsheet System for Trading, I can obviously use cells J86-87. I assume that changing Session S/E would mess up historical charts, etc. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-03-24 19:53:43

in Global Symbol Settings 'Intraday' tab, most/all instruments are set as New York/Eastern. Do I need to change the Time Zone to UTC +0 for each Symbol that I plan to monitor/trade, No.Just set the session times in the chart as you need. If you need to use the evening session times then use those, otherwise not. Here is the relevant documentation: Chart Session Times Session Times for the chart are accessible by ACSIL, Refer to the relevant variables here: ACSIL Interface Members - Variables and Arrays Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
