hi support,

I've gone through many doms and scaling threads and it seems like other have had similar problems (DOM keeps offsetting the current price, won't reset Re-Center all DOMs not working) but not sure if there is a solution posted yet?

Method 1) 're-center trade DOM scales' command
For me, this should be the solution, but 're-center trade DOM scales' only works some times??

As per this thread (Re-Center all DOMs not working): "Ok, maybe it doesn't work when you scroll it up and then try to re-center it. When I let the market play, it works to re-center all DOMs."

Which leads to (Trade Menu: Re-Center Trade DOM Scales (Trade menu)): "When the Re-Center Trade DOM Scales command is selected, the Constant Range scales for all of the open Trade DOM windows is reset which means the price will be re-centered. However, if the scale of the Trade DOM was manually offset from its true center by dragging the price scale up or down, then that offset will continue to remain."

Maybe perhaps why I see the 're-center trade DOM scales' only works sometimes is because of "However, if the scale of the Trade DOM was manually offset from its true center by dragging the price scale up or down, then that offset will continue to remain."

If so... Then if I did "manually offset from its true center by dragging the price", how do i reset it so that 're-center trade DOM scales' works again?

I tried:

step 1) "right side of the chart or Trade DOM and select Auto Scale the Chart DOM" (as per Chart Trading and the Chart DOM: Scaling the Chart DOM)

step 2) wait for market to move away WITHOUT DRAGGING scale

step 3) 're-center trade DOM scales' is still no good - the re-center still doesn't go to the last traded price

Here is an example with screenshots:

1) I selected "Auto Scale the Chart DOM" for both doms and it looks like https://www.sierrachart.com/Download.php?Folder=SupportBoard&download=26255

2) I wait for market move away and DID NOT drag the price - YM moved off the page, and ES 16 ticks off center (https://www.sierrachart.com/Download.php?Folder=SupportBoard&download=26256)

3) I selected 're-center trade DOM scales' and the result is that is doesn't re-enter (https://www.sierrachart.com/Download.php?Folder=SupportBoard&download=26257)

Please let me know how I can get 're-center trade DOM scales' command to work so it re-centers to the last price, or better yet, re-enter to Recenter DOM on BID/ASK Midpoint (Recenter DOM on BID/ASK Midpoint)

method 2 & 3 below doesn't work for me, but i did try them out for anyone else who is interested

Method 2) Auto-center
One thread suggested auto-centering following The Chart DOM Scale: Auto Centering Price Scale on Chart DOM

Constant Range Scale Mode >> Re-Center to the Last Price on Every Update

However, this makes the ladder extremely hard to follow.

So, this doesn't work for me unfortunately.

Method 3) manual move it with hand tool or Interactive Scale Move
As per this thread (Recentering DOM on chart), however, i want to re-center all doms at the same time, not individual ones

So, again, this doesn't work for me unfortunately.
