Hello, would you please help me with the following problem.

I am trying to find how to fix a gap with a Gold future contract. I was trying to solve the problem with many ways:
- deleting and reloading data for the last 2 months;
- changing rollover rule;
- changing days to load;

But nothing helped. The time zone I am living in is +3 UTC (based in Moscow), I have checked the session time as well. Now I am confused how to fix a gap.

The gap is between 02.28.19 and 02.29.19.

We do not know what gap you are referring to. And also the dates you mention are at a future point in time.

Ok, I have made a mistake.

The exact dates are between 28 and 29 January.

Would you please tell me how to avoid gaps in the future and which rollover rule is the most accurate?

Okay so that particular price gap can be corrected by using one of the back adjusted continuous futures contract rollover options:
