Hello, I am currently using Sierra Chart data feed and CQG WebAPI trading service. I am noticing some slippage (2-3 ticks on 1 contract) in the order fills.
Will moving to Rithmic, CTS T4 FIX or TT FIX instead of CQG WebAPI help with slippage?
Anyone have experience on this? I am trading ES and NQ

Others can provide feedback on this but we would tend to doubt there is going to be improvement by moving to another backend platform unless somehow the orders are getting slightly delayed because of packet retransmission due to a lower level connectivity issue.

In any case we recommend not doing anything right now and having a look at our new upcoming order routing solution which will be out very soon. We are just finishing up on some final details on it.

Who is your clearing firm?

Sound good. I will wait in this case. My broker is Stage 5 Trading Corp, which I believe is cleared through Dorman.
Will this new order routing be supported through my broker?

Thanks for this. I currently have Sierra Chart Real-time data feed enabled along with CME market data for which I am paying $28.25 per month.

Couple of questions:
1. When this order routing is enabled in my account, the only additional cost I will have is $0.10 per contract? I assume this is the transaction fees correct? I will still be charged for Commissions, Clearing Fees, Exchange Fees and NFA Fees by my broker?

2. After completing the form and having the clearing firm account linked with my Sierra Chart account, I should still continue to use my current trading service (CQG WebAPI), until notified by Sierra Chart to switch over?

3. When I go to fill out the form its asking for "Trading Technologies Account Number". What is this? I currently have 3 accounts setup through Stage 5 Trading Corp (broker), which is clearing through Dorman Trading. So I guess I leave this field blank.

4. Do I need to call my broker to connect to Sierra Chart account? What details do I need to provide them for Sierra Chart?

Thank you. I got a call from the broker that you contacted them.

I want some further clarification on the cost:
Currently CQG WebAPI charges me $10 per month for platform fee + the other common costs (Commissions, Clearing Fees, Exchange Fees, Transaction Fees and NFA Fees).

By going with Sierra Chart, I won't be paying any flat fee per month? (besides the monthly $28.25 I am paying for CME + Sierra Chart Real-time data feed).

No you will not be paying any flat fee per month like the 10 dollars.

Dear Support,

Thank you for this. It looks very useful, especially the EU server idea.

1) Can you please explain the security question in the documentation. Is the security done or still under development?
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartOrderRoutingServiceWithData.php#IsItSecure

Although there is still further development work we need to do to fully complete this. This is expected to be completed by the end of February 2019.

2) Currently I asked to have Tradovate setup a bracket order server side system with CQG.
They charge $15 per month for Web plus $15 per month for Fix. Both are needed as I understand.
They also charge for data. Can anybody point me in the right direction to understand how I might compare using the Sierra Service for orders vs keeping my current service with Tradovate via Phillip Capital?

3) When will the EU server be available? For the moment, I see I can only select server 1 & 2. Does it failover automatically? If, when the EU server 3 is available, will it failover to US automatically?
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartOrderRoutingServiceWithData.php#FAQ_HowDoesItWork
There are two servers for redundancy. You can choose what server you want to use. We intend to also add a server in Europe as well and any other strategic geographical locations as needed.

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Jason

1. We will be finishing with this, we expect next week. Part of the delay has to do with there are some users on old versions of Sierra Chart and they are not updating and so we have to make special accommodation for them. Maybe we should just force them to update but we are not going to do that.

2.

Not sure we understand the question. Server-side bracket orders are supported with the Sierra Chart order routing service.

3. We will try to get this done in the next 30 days. There is not automatic failover but the likelihood of a problem is very low. You would have to manually change servers and the reason for that is because if you have any working server-side bracket orders those are managed on the specific server they were sent to. But we can always add an option for automatic reconnection to a different server if there is a failure connecting to a particular server. That is not a problem.
