Hello

Please have a look at the attached picture. You will see the TPO Chart of the CLG9. Why are these gaps always at the End to the RTH (Cash) session at 2:30 pm? But only with CL is this problem. Is a setting wrong?

Thanks.
Best regards

Hi, I took a look at your picture. When I use the same settings my TPO profiles look different. For example on the 12-17 the low of the day is lower than what you show and the high of 12-18 is lower than what you show. I would look in the Settings for the Study itself. There is a setting within it called Use Custom Sub Periods - but the default (I tried it) doesn't produce the results you have.

If you cannot figure it out this is what I would do. Duplicate a TPO chart that you say is correct so you do not mess up the original. Then change the symbol to CL and see what happens (making sure the session times is what you want) and see if that works. If not I would check into the TPO settings themselves - unless the symbol setup itself is off for some reason (seems unlikely) and I am not sure how to check that.

That was a user response. Not from us. In that chart, set the Session Start Time to 18:00:00 and the End Time to 16:59:59. This assumes the chart is using the New York time zone.

Refer to:
Chart Session Times

Since that is a continuous futures contract chart, refer to:
