alerts won't stop

I was using studies on 2 separate charts, Keltner Channel and Color Background based on Alert Condition with sound alerts. I wanted to stop the sound alerts. First I disabled the alert, then I picked No Alert Sound, then I removed the code in the alert box and finally I removed the studies from the charts. The alerts are still sounding and showing on the Alert log. I don't want to disable all alert sounds because some I find very useful. How do I stop these alerts that are no longer on the charts from sounding?
